postheadericon Homemade Acne Cures – Discover The 6 Best Acne Remedies You Can Make In Your Own Home

Acne is a common but embarrassing condition, but luckily there are a number of homemade acne remedies that you can use. In this article I am going to briefly explain each of the best homemade acne remedies, including oatmeal mask, tea tree oil, honey & apple mask, vinegar, egg white & lemon mask, and pineapple & honey mask.

Oatmeal Acne Mask

This is one of the best acne remedies that anyone can make at home. All you need to do is to mix some oatmeal with some water and cook as normal. Once it has cooled down to room temperature, spread it onto your face and leave it for about 10 or 15 minutes, and then wash off using warm water. Use twice daily.

Teat Tree for Acne

Tea tree oil has wonderful antibacterial properties, and therefore makes a great home treatment for acne. However, this comes with a warning: do not apply the oil neat to your face. Doing that can harm your skin. This is extremely powerful stuff.

The easiest way to use tea tree oil is to get it in a gel. For example, you can buy Aloe Vera Gel with tea tree oil added to it. Most health food shops will stock products like this. Apply to the affected area liberally. It’s best to use it in the evening, just before bed, as tea tree oil has quite a strong smell.

Honey & Apple Acne Mask

Another fantastic homemade acne treatment is a honey and apple mask. Just grate an apple and then mix with some honey. Apply it to your face and leave for about 15 to 20 minutes, before washing off with warm water. Apply two or three times per week.

Vinegar Acne Treatment

Another great homemade acne treatment, useful especially for blotchy redness, is apple vinegar. Just mix a tablespoon of apple vinegar with a glass of water. Stir. Then dip cotton balls into the solution and dab onto the affected areas. This is best to do just before bed, and rinse off in the morning.

Lemon & Egg White Acne Treatment

Here is another great homemade acne remedy that you can make using common food found in your home – this time egg and lemon. Break pen two eggs, and separate the yolks and the whites. Whisk the egg whites until they become foamy, then add in two teaspoons of lemon juice (although you can add more lemon juice if you have extremely oily skin).

Using a cotton ball, dab the solution onto the affected areas of your skin. Leave it until it completely dries, and then rinse off with cool water. If you normally use make-up, don’t put any make-up on for a few hours. Apply a specially created moisturizer if your skin feels dry.

Pineapple & Honey Acne Treatment

This remedy is similar to the apple and honey one I mentioned earlier in the article. Mash up some pineapple (about a cup full), and rinse the juice off. Add a tablespoon of honey and mix together. Apply to your acne and then leave it for approximately 20 or 3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly using warm water.
