Going on a massage will help you get temporarily ease the pain that you feel in your joints and muscles. However, the most important thing to remember when going for this treatment is to find an expert massage therapist who can assist you. The muscles surrounding your joints are quite delicate so you need someone who knows how to handle these sensitive areas.

TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation)

When undergoing this treatment, a small electrical device that sends signals to the nerve endings will be applied to the affected area. The signals that are sent out will block the pain signals given to the brain, and thus, eliminating your pain.

Surgery

Surgery is usually held as a last option when it comes to chronic joint and muscle pain. Sometimes, surgery is the only solution left to the patient with this condition. Undergoing surgery has caused some patients to gain back their mobility and completely eliminating the pain in their joints.
